What will my very eager mother just serve us now?

With absolute disregard for the importance--and the permanence--of mnemonic devices, the International Astronomer's Union has taken away Pickles. I mean Pluto.

There goes everything I can remember from the 4th grade.

It's funny, because I always suspected the mnemonic my mother taught me had been formulated before Pluto was officially a planet: Mary visits every Monday and just stays until noon, period. (The "and" refers to the asteroid belt.) I always thought it would sound better without "period"...
